Who We Are
Farming is in our blood. Born and raised on a dairy farm in North Cumbria, Managing Director Chris Whitfield has been involved in the Agricultural Industry all of his life. His passion stemmed from assisting his parents and grandparents on the family farms. From a young age Chris could be seen with a spanner or screwdriver in his hand repairing anything and everything!
Chris went on to earn a degree in Agricultural Engineering at Harper Adams University. He spent his placement year at the multi-award winning company McConnel where he gained valuable experience in design engineering. On returning to Cumbria, Chris was employed as a service technician for a local company in the GPS industry.
CW Agritech was established in January 2021 to put Chris's experience and hobbies in to action. CW Agritech strives to pave the way in high tech solutions to ensure that farming is as efficient as possible.
